1989: Graduated from Henan University with a BA
2004-2006: China University of Political Science and Law
Before joining Chofn in 2010, Mr. Tingxi Huo owned many professional experiences. From 1998 to 2003, he joined China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. He studied Japanese Trademark Law in AOTS in 2003. In 2004, he became a member and partner of Peksung Intellectual Property.
Having been involved in applications for trademark registration, opposition, reexamination, investigation in infringement, litigation and strategic planning for enterprise trademark since 1998, Mr. Huo has delivered IP agency services to world-renowned enterprises. In addition, with extensive knowledge of trademarks and years of experience, Mr. Huo has delivered speeches on various international occasions. With intensive study in the classification of goods and services for registration of trademark, Mr. Huo is also the author of the Classification of Similar Goods and Services for Registration of Trademarks in the People's Republic of China, which has become a must-have reference book for domestic and overseas trademark agents and practitioners in related industries.
Mr. Huo was a member of the INTA Enforcement Committee 2014-2015, Building Bridge Committee 2016-2017, MARQUES China Team, AIPPI and China Trademark Association (CTA). He has been elected as Asian IP Expert, World IP Leaders, WTR 1000 trademark attorneys by different organizations and media.
